Dr. Jeffrey Wilkinson is a highly-trained subspecialist in the area of Cardiology.  He was born and raised in Saskatchewan.  He has trained in both Canada and the United States which allows him to provide the highest quality of care to his patients.

Dr. Wilkinson was educated at the University of Saskatchewan and received a Bachelor of Science degree with Great Distinction in Physiology.  He continued on at the University of Saskatchewan where he earned his M.D..  Dr. Wilkinson was accepted to Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario for his residency.  He completed core Internal Medicine and then chose to subspecialize in Cardiology.  Dr. Wilkinson has also completed a diverse set of training in Edmonton, Toronto and Chicago. 

After completing his education, Dr. Wilkinson spent one year at the Kingston Heart Clinic.  Both him and his wife chose to return to Saskatchewan to provide care to the people of Saskatchewan.  His general cardiology practice was established in October of 2018.

As of October 2023, the South Saskatchewan Heart Clinic transitioned to become a private clinic in order to provide the absolute highest quality care to the people of Saskatchewan.

Dr. Wilkinson holds an appointment with the University of Saskatchewan as an Assistant Professor and enjoys being actively involved in the education and training of new physicians. Outside of his busy practice, Dr. Wilkinson enjoys kitesurfing, hydrofoiling, golf and traveling with his wife. 

Jolene is our Senior Administrator. When you call us, she’s the person you’ll work with to arrange your visit. She has all the answers! She was born and raised in Swift Current — which means that Southern Saskatchewan holds a special place in her heart. As one of the first points of contact for patients, Jolene brings a friendly and professional approach that helps create a welcoming environment. With over 25 years of experience, her organizational skills and dedication to service plays a vital role in supporting our commitment to high quality cardiac care. Outside of work, Jolene enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult children, going for walks, watching football, and tackling home renovation projects — big or small!

Sandy is our Ultrasound (Echo) Technologist. She performs your echocardiogram with skill, a supreme focus on comfort, and excellent communication. Her cardiology experience is unmatched in Southern Saskatchewan — she has seen it all! Her passion is to provide you with a careful cardiac ultrasound examination to ensure that nothing is missed. She is a self-described plant lover. She owns many succulents. With her time off she enjoys cooking and entertaining large crowds of friends and family.

Juanita is our Clinical Assistant. When you visit the Heart Clinic, she’s one of the first professionals you’ll be working with. She will help you through your very first visit — reviewing your medical history and medications, performing your ECG, and other cardiac procedures. She was born and raised in Swift Current and is trained as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She has a wealth of experience because she has been working in healthcare for over 20 years. Her care, attention, and experience is obvious the first time you meet her. In her spare time she enjoys spending it with her husband and three sons — usually with a fishing rod in her hand at Diefenbaker Lake.
