About Our Clinic

About Our Clinic

We are the South Saskatchewan Heart Clinic, proudly located in beautiful Moose Jaw and serving patients from Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta since 2018. We are a general cardiology clinic which means that we specialize in the outpatient evaluation and management of cardiovascular health.

Our clinic has everything you need for your heart! We provide a full suite of important cardiac tests including stress testing, tranthoracic echocardiography (Echo), ECG (electrocardiogram), blood pressure monitoring and heart rate monitoring (Holter). We provide consultations and ongoing cardiology follow-up.

One of the biggest advantages of our clinic is that we are supremely focused on service and quality. Our vision is that patients should be able to access our clinic quickly and easily. If you want to see a Cardiologist, just call us! We welcome referrals but we do not require one from your primary care provider. Making an appointment has never been easier. Our wait time for testing or to see the Cardiologist is always within 1-2 weeks. We also believe that arranging testing should revolve around your schedule, not ours. This means that you can receive all necessary cardiac testing on the same day. We also believe you should get answers immediately — which means that after your tests are done you can review that information with the Cardiologist and make a plan together the same day.

Finally, we take the time to get your diagnosis correct. We book your consultation so that we can effectively communicate and build a relationship with you. We are relentless in providing you with the highest quality of care available in Canada. Your comfort and peace-of-mind are our utmost concern as we are the only private Cardiology clinic in Western Canada.

Why Private?

Although the public Saskatchewan Medicare program is a good way to have your heart health assessed, there are some disadvantages. Sometimes wait times in the public system can be excessive which delay a proper diagnosis, you may have to travel to a larger center to access a cardiologist, or you may want to have all your tests booked on the same day and get your results immediately. At our clinic you can typically be seen within 1-2 weeks, you don't need to travel to see a qualified specialist, and as a client your comfort and peace-of-mind are our utmost concern.

Our consultation rate (including ECG) is $350 which can sometimes be covered by third party health insurance. Other cardiac diagnostic testing is charged separately. You do not need a referral from your family MD or nurse practitioner to be seen at our clinic.
